System description:
Open Loop System:
An Open Loop System cycles water from the bottom of the cylinder to the Solar Collector where it is heated and then cycled back into the cylinder raising the overall water temperature. This same water then flows on to the tap or shower on demand.
Typical Applications of an open loop system would be most new houses and retrofits.
System Controller:
